Yeah. It requires less strength than swords to use effectively and became very popular with women in Japan.

I am getting in touch with my feminine side. :)

It is kind of awkward in confined spaces, though.

I would like to say it was delayed by the broken rib, but it is more like general forgetfulness. It is on the same to do list as sorting out getting a motorbike :o(

We've got a very real and very sharp Naginata that sits in the corner of the bedroom. I may not be trained in it, but I know the theory, so woe for any burglars who try to break in to -my- domain!

long time no update?? Got hurt by a Naginata?? :)

Schau mal rein, ich schreibe grade meine Notizen nach und nach in ein oeffentliches blog unter dem Namen anguaatyasuni, ueber meine Reise letzte Woche in den Nationalpark Yasuni zu den Waorani-Indianern, die erst seit ein paar Jahrzehnten mit der Zivilisation in Kontact sind.

Wann kommst Du? Vielleicht koennen wir sie dann nochmal besuchen. ICh vermisse sie schon.
