On this day in 1915, 250 Armenian intellectuals were executed by the Turkish government. This day is marked for that reason as the day to commemorate the Turkish killing of about 1.5 million Armenians, as well as hundreds of thousands of Greeks and Assyrians. Okay... life is going smoothly enough. I'm getting more involved in the local scene. I have a girl who I don't see nearly as much as I'd like, but who's wonderful. I have a bunch of great friends all over (mostly in the states) who I've actually met several times now. I'm learning, I'm growing... I'm becoming more comfortable in my own skin.
