Parenthood in all its forms
Been an interesting day chez trampledamage. When I came back to the house after doing my paper deliveries, there was a fledgling robin sitting on our patio. I didn't know if it was just trying to fly or if it was hurt, but as I was watching it, I saw an adult robin first talk to it and then come down and feed it. An elderly lady from Winnipeg was saved from a night sleeping on a bench at Chicago O'Hare airport by a local Chicago man who she originally struck up conversation with because he had shiny shoes and she's always appreciated well-looked after shoes. The race for Christmas number one in the British singles chart is between the most recent X-Factor winner and Rage Against The Machine! Currently RATM are winning.
