It never fails to leave him a little bit in awe when Yunho is around. He is the leader of one of the most successful Korean boy bands ever. He is smart and cool, and down to earth, and he talks to Onew like Onew doesn’t completely fail at being the leader of SHINee.
That pretty much sums up what I feel is Onew's attitude toward Yunho.

“So, what you’re saying is that I have to wait five years for Kibum to stop taking pictures of me in the shower?” Onew looked stricken, like he probably wanted to fast forward through all of that, to a time when Kibum and Jonghyun, and Taemin, and even Minho when he was bored, were more mature than bugging the hell out of their leader.
