The cottage sounds like a great time!!!

So are you going up there for longish weekends or what? I've never rented anything for a whole season. How do you like it?

Originally we offered to purchase the camp, but the children of the elderly couple that own the cottage couldn't agree on selling. Then we offered to rent for the month of July. Again, they couldn't agree on renting. Then we got a call from a local realtor/fellow camp-owner on this road that the owners were willing to rent for the season. Hence, we have the cottage from June 1 - October 1. Obviously we won't be here for the entire season, but have been enjoying whatever time we can squeeze in. We were up here for two consecutive weekends, then the girls and I enjoyed a week here with two of their friends from PA. Now the four of us are here for a week. Ted and I will be going back to PA for a few days next week. Then we'll be back for a few days. My 20th high school reunion is next weekend. After that...anything goes. More than likely the girls and I will be here quite a bit more than Ted for the rest of the season. It is a lot of fun. We love it!

Sounds absolutely wonderful. Maybe this will lead into owning the camp one day.

So sad we missed BoN.
