So we've moved to the cottage on the St. Lawrence River for the second summer. I love spending time with my family and in my native North Country. We're back to hanging out together in between our cottage or my brother's, planning and sharing meals every day, and running back and forth. Youngest daughter turned 16 yesterday. Saturday was her celebration with her school friends. She and six friends took a limo into Philly. Rode around the riverfront and the art district (while enjoying sparkling cider in champagne flutes, music, and fun party favors she passed out), they got out at the art museum and ran up the Rocky steps. We had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday weekend! I realize this post is a week after the fact, but because I had such a wonderful time, I have spent the last week recuperating. Life couldn't be better! We're settling into PA very well. D1 is enrolled in four dance classes per week. Ballet, total technique, pointe, and hip hop. She's gotten involved with a nice group of friends. Last night she had her first slumber party at our new house. She's doing wonderfully at school and keeping up her National Honor Society grades.
