Agreed, so very much. It makes me so angry that people think outing them is okay, when it very clearly is not.
Also "Clearly, they don't want everyone to find out as evidenced by the fact that they haven't fucking told you." This, this, this. Even if they were actually dating (which is not my personal belief, but irrelevant), the boys would likely tell people when they're ready. They are their own people, and all those "management intervening" theories are a little ridiculous.
Times like these make me grateful I only involve myself in a certain part of fandom, even if it means I miss out on other One Direction moments.
Ngh yes oh my god I love sane people in this fandom-
Honestly, I think the management (would) be lovely people. I think Simon genuinely cares for them and if not, I'm pretty sure the management couldn't enforce anything intense (like Louis did an interview regarding the sex ban, and he was like 'well, they're not around all the time' which is so fucking true).
I do, however, think that two boys who are clearly under a lot of public scrutiny (may) not enjoy having every detail of their lives dissected. Harry's been in the public eye since he was sixteen. He has next to no secrets. And considering how much shit Lou and Liam get for their relationships, it's no wonder they (may) not want to come out.
I refuse to check out 'proof' blogs because ugh I don't think it's right. It just sucks that not many people agree with that :c
(also, you're absolutely fantastic, I get heart eyes so often when I see your username)
I think I saw that interview! Proof blogs are absolutely ridiculous, and end up deleting in a number of hours in any case, so I don't think there's much to see there. I only ever really notice these things occurring when rational posts come through, disproving any "evidence".
It must be terribly hard for all of them, just to be under so much scrutiny, and the fact that it has a flow on effect to their family, friends and girlfriends is what gets to me most of the time. Being young myself, I can't even begin to imagine how it is to not have anything of your own.
(also, thank you so much. to be honest, I can't actually express how much I fangirl when I see your name/your fic around the place except in a keysmash, like so ajdsfhalksdf)
Yeah like there was a month or so when I was ~in~ this fandom but not connected to it on tumblr and jesus fucking christ it was such a golden era now everything is blowing up every single week ugh (like the 'true' fans tweet was a week ago can't people just que sera, sera or whatever?)
And this is where I get all surprisingly feminist and angry because women are continuously portrayed as being weak or an accessory (not just as a beard, but in general, with the housewife-secretary-arm-candy concept. Elenor's a person. Whether or not she's with Lou or a good person, she's still not an object. No amount of 'fandom' can change that and it just makes me so angry ugh-
(tbqh I read your comments like six billion times and refuse to reply to them so I can soak up the good feelings they produce, unless that sounds a little too creepy)
Ugh no I completely understand like sometimes I just want to choose select people and select songs and select youtube videos and lock myself in the room with only those for this fandom because Tumblr can be out of control and Twitter is just bloodthirsty sometimes.
And everyone's pissed off because it's a fake and no I'm pissed off because it ever ever ever happened ugh.
People don't even guess the repercussions of these actions I mean if the boys were to be in a relationship do you think they would be able to go out or perform or sign or be happy if this all happened?
(this is the reason why I cacoon myself in Ziam because it's so less evasive and they're like a beacon of light okay everything with Larry just makes me angry sometimes)
haha I blatantly refuse to use Twitter. I never understood it and I have a habit of rambling and it just sounds scary :c
Ziam is a beautiful place. It's like- ugh- it's like if you consider Harry and Lou to be burning up and scary and angsty (which is fantastic occasionally but my heart needs time to mend), Zayn and Liam are like a nice hot bath and essence candles and a long hug and a 'hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?'
