I've never watched Sherlock, but I can't pass up 00. :) I feel like Suzaku and Lelouch fill the roles of Watson and Holmes nicely. You have a good start here, and it would be interesting to read their banter. :)

Since I've never watched the show, I'm also curious who Rivalz is supposed to be...?

The series is good! Very watchable :) I think they fit the roles very nicely too. Hence, my writing this XD. I'm actually loooking forward to the banter too.

Rivalz is Suzaku's old college mate, and he works at the lab (lecturer, whom Lelouch once helped -- I still need to decide how, lol). He's not got a very huge role in the story though.

LOVE this combination!!!! <3 I love Sherlock Holmes... Been waiting for a crossover of this to happen!! I knew it was just a matter of time. SherLouch is great. x3 And I feel like Suzaku fits Watson's role very well here too.

And aww, poor WatsonZaku has a cane :( How is he supposed to be his usual super-athletic self??

Just wanted to point out little grammar error in the first sentence: "and friends getting gunning down in front of him.." Pretty sure you meant 'gunned down'. ;)

^__^ Loving this so far, can't wait to see where you go with it~!

If you like the crossover so much (as do I), here's one in the original Sherlock setting:

Hmm, firerose already pointed out there is a /classical/ version out there. Which is lovely, and I can only wholeheartedly recommend. Hmm, I always thought of Suzaku being very Watsonlike too.

It ... won't be lasting, I assure you.

I did! Thanks for pointing that out!

I'm rather excited about this project myself! Thanks for commenting!

I love this. One thing though:

“you’re our using the cane for the wrong purpose.”

I'm guessing that's a typo? Because it really doesn't make sense.

Another person wrote a Sherlelouch Suzaku!Watson thing, but it wasn't modern day like yours. Admittedly, I have a hard time imagining Suzaku as a doctor, because he's usually such a combat oriented person (although I'm sure he saw plenty). Plus it was a field hospital. Shame about his leg though, considering how physically talented he is.

Thanks for pointing that mistake out! I love it when people actually point out things <3

If I go by the series (BBC's Sherlock), he won't actually be using his degree much. Because John Watson is far more combat-oriented in the BBC series too. The injury on his leg isn't permanent ... saying this without spoiling too much ^_^;

Could I rec the series to you? It's only 3 episodes per season, and really good (especially the John and Sherlock dynamics -- calling them John and Sherlock because they do call each other by their first names XD).

(That other fic is lovely, btw <3)

I've heard of the series, and it's on my (lengthy) list of things I want to watch. I really wish I had the BBC channel because the British seem to have amazing TV series. But since it's only three episodes a season, maybe Sherlock will jump the line, otherwise I may never get to it.
