And so begins a beautiful partnership. I haven't actually watched Sherlock yet, but I definitely plan to after I finish the latest season of Doctor Who.

It's funny that Suzaku was thinking about what to wear when I consider him the type of person to throw on whatever he happens to find first that is somewhat clean.

I heartily rec it. The fandom is really fantastic too (as exemplified by the fact the category 'Sherlock recs (lol bandwagon)' in my memories is steadfastly growing quite ... noticeably.

And Doctor Who <3.

I think I usually see him like this too, but he ... was just trying to make an impression here. And I wanted to throw in a little joke here and there (the series does it constantly, people always mistaking John and Sherlock for being a couple).

I liked best the suicidal thoughts and Milly section. She really brightened up the "space".

You know, I'm thinking even if Suzaku was born in UK in this -verse, he is still Asian-looking(? I suppose) - someone eventually might comment on his English and ask about his origins or something. If you feel this would be appropriate.

Hmm, ♥ I really felt I just needed to /write/. So an update happened. That was a better option than booking a plane ticket to London and throwing myself off London Bridge into the Thames.

"Arse bandit" is a very offensive BE slang term for homosexual. Suzaku would know it, and I think he felt tempted there for a sec to use it, but yeah. Very offensive term. Not to be used in public.

Yes, I felt I needed to write him as I view canon Sherlock. He can have adorable moments.

Of course, Suzaku would have suicidal thoughts. He's still Suzaku ... and I have this theory that John wasn't so happy without Sherlock there either. And oh yes, Milly as Mrs Hudson ♥. I wondered if it would be too crackish... but then no else quite fits the role as well.

If I hadn't kept them, writing this wouldn't have been half as much fun.

Oh, I think he's still very Asian-looking. It probably will be addressed at some point.

John certainly didn't seem happy:( those nightmares about war, I imagine they stopped after he moved in with Sherlock.

Milly fits well enough, I think.

Is it bad that I'd like Suzaku to be as much of lol ladykiller as Watson? XD

Hmm. I've seen various takes on that in fic (that Watson still /dreams/ but TLD;R). There's that fucked up fic (A Thorough Examination -- in mems XD) that explored, in an interesting but VERY controversial way how John would seek death (through Sherlock's hands by doing something unforgiveable). Of course, the canon hints that John only feels alive when he's in danger ... imply something not so cheery. He's stable, but not that stable. If that makes sense.

Yes. She's warm and kind-hearted.

No, I do see him that way XD. He's just a nice guy who's quite dateable.

yay so happy you're continuing this~ <3 it continues to be great. Love that you added Milly, and love her characterization. I feel like she'd just be the happiest, caregiving old lady. Though still always out to tease Lelouch.

I thought so too -- that she'd be a very caring and happy old lady. Of course, along with teasing Lelouch (because he'll never get a break, no matter what the verse XD).

I really enjoy writing this, so there'll most likely be more!

Late comments are still <3. I think banter is what ... drives Sherlock(louch) and Watson(zaku). That and Suzaku both annoyed and intrigued by Lelouch. LOL, the original Sherlock is full of ... subtext and people mistaking John and Sherlock for a couple (it's hilarious).

Milly just seemed to fit into the role of Mrs Hudson. That and I love her.
