My student visa is finally here! In the form of a big, shiny sticker in my passport. Unfortunately, it says right on it that I cannot get a job. Hopefully cash won't be a problem. My plane tickets to and from LA to New Zealand as well as within the country are now paid for! :D I still need to figure out how to best get from and back to the east coast, but I suppose that will have to wait until exams are over with.

My student visa application is in the mail, and I should have flights figured out by the end of the week.

Tomorrow is registration for classes for the next semester at my home college. It is a bit weird not to be picking out classes, making schedules, backup schedules, pulling my hair out, etc. Good luck with class registration, everyone!

This is going to be a blog on my study abroad experience in New Zealand, starting mid-February 2009. The idea is to keep my friends and family back home informed, and to post lots of pictures. Hopefully it will also make it easier for me to keep my thoughts, experiences, and photos in order.
