I just got accepted to a three week conference in San Francisco on sexuality and religion....it's super awesome and an honor (they only accept a few people a year apparently)...BUT....

BUT

It's 2,000 just to register not to mention housing and food...

Any good ideas for cheap life in San Fran AND how to get two grand in the next week???????F'

Call me up when it gets closer and I'll help you out. There is usually a ton of free stuff going on if you know where to look. So when the date approaches, I'll ask some of my friends if there are any fun free stuff going on.

best thing I got on hilton family travel is 69.00 at the Embassy Suites at San Fran Airport and also 69.00 at the doubletree at the airport. If you have a car and willing to drive further, I might be able to get better rates for you. You don't need me to be there for the rate, and its good for all three weeks, checkin the 8th checkout the 28th. Closer to city center are running about 130-159.

As for getting 2 grand, walking the streets in downtown phoenix got me home last summer. But you've got to COMMIT.

Or does ASU provide conference grants?
