I had an awesome time last Saturday night! I was especially pleased that my mate Grant came to an alt/goth club for the first time ever - and liked it! So since Monday is my actual birthday, we're having a degustation dinner at Becasse www.becasse.com.au/ It's a 2 chef hat restaurant from the SMH Good Food Guide, and won Chef of the Year 2009. Woot!

Friday night Dom and I finally scored a copy of Detroit Metal City, with English subtitles (you can buy it here: http://www.soasiandvd.com.au/show_item.php?code=KDVD3147)  It was pretty funny, but Kenichi Matsuyama was far from sexy in this role.
