The bottle of washing-up detergent was almost empty, so I put it upside down in a teacup and left it there to get the last drops out of it. When it refused to cooperate, I gave up and threw it away ( Read more... )

But if it's psychosomatic, why aren't I coughing up bubbles?

Anyway, I realised that what saved me was probably the kind of detergent I was using. It's called -- and I shit you not -- "Mini-Risk". It's all dermatologically tested, doesn't contain fragrance, preservatives or colorants, etc. etc. I probably wouldn't try the same stunt with your regular environmentally hazardous stuff. :D

Now. Who do I call to get paid for the product placement?

I'd be shocked if any dishwasher detergent is considered ecotoxic, by either EU or Canadian standards. :)
