klashville and gossg and I made fajitas for dinner last night to celebrate her last night with us (she flew home this morning). If you had seen the 2 dead bat-looking things and smelled the smoke from the toaster oven fire I can almost guarantee that jealousy would fade a little :)

yay for taste bud recovery and all those other good things. too late for a new toaster oven for your birthday, though :) if you want some suggestions on the "remembering meds" thing, i have a few.

Greg actually used the toaster oven this morning, he says it still works perfectly. I'll work on him a bit and see if I can get a new toaster somehow.

New? I circulated through the thrift shops this morning and got a conventional toaster. Didn't like any of the toaster ovens in stock.

I was really really hoping that my company would send me back to Calgary on Febuary 11th/12th. But it looks like they are sending me to Toronto on that weekend instead. Keeping my fingers crossed that they change their minds...

Burnt dead bats on a rack? DUDE! I would have loved that for Samhain/ Halloween! But still, here I was thinking *I* was the only one who set things like that on fire... nice to see I'm not alone in that illustrious club. (YAY Greg!) Mind you I have never managed to SHOOT flames out of anything to my recollection... that's more Clayten's talent, or possibly Feste's.
