so its the last day of the year 2008, and things are going well have been in milford for about a month now starting to feel much more comfortable and getting to know the people and the area around me, done the lady bowen waterfall walk a couple of times now it is absolutly gorgeous, its four hours till midnight and close to being time for the pub, ( Read more... )

well its been a while and its been fairly busy, went home for six weeks, for a couple of weddings and a family holiday which was awesome, and lovely to see all the family and friends again, and now i am at milford sound waiting to start work next monday. its an isolated part of the world i would say about 2 and half hours from the closest set of ( Read more... )

so lots of activity and adventures since i last posted, i had one of the coolest weeks imaginable last week just gone, damo came over for a visit, i went on a helicopter ride over the property that i am working on, had a snowboarding lesson, went on a jet boat,did a glacier walk and hung out with my cool mates and had some random party nights ( Read more... )

so i am in the middle of my five day road trip around the south of the south island of new zealand and it has been wonderful, went to puszzle world yesterday and spent half an hour trying to make it through a maze, went to a golf driving range and this morning i flew a plane, scary i know people letting me up in the air but it was amazing i love ( Read more... )

so i have been at flock hill now three weeks and things are still going well. The work is decent enough and the people i am still finding to be very kind and we are stuck to start having some adventures together. i went to the mtv snowjam fistival last night which was pretty insane, dancing away in the freezing weather saw the greats, the ( Read more... )

so working at flock hill seems to be one of the best decisions i have made in a while - the people are lovely, the relaxed environment everything i was looking for after quitting the hostel because of the lack of team work and the overbearing dictatership (?), and now its all about working in a team and a manager that says you look after me i look ( Read more... )
