Despina's Infamous Green Journal
Day Twelve

Wednesday

Day Twelve -- Morning:

Up @ 5 am.

The cookout went pretty well. The boys were hot and sweaty after carrying all that sagebrush and those rocks into the cave, so we dove and swam before eating. I actually did a cannonball off the high cliff - at the boy's insistence, of course.

I wore out in the heat moving that camp fire, but it will be worth it. I set my alarm so I can go light the fire in the new location.

Day Twelve -- After dark:

Mick asked for a tour of the refrigerators, but his radio cut in before we got away from the others. Cu was off somewhere unstated. He could have a hundred mistresses and I'd never hear a word, I'm sure. No sooner as Mick left than Cu comes, silently, of course, until Paul Peter makes everyone tell what they miss most. He told me as we walked back that Cu misses the company of his wife. Alberto is four, but he's still grieving, evidently.

When I said, "bathrooms", you could have heard the proverbial pin drop. I can't believe how prudish people who should never have heard of Puritanism seem to be. I should be glib-witted enough to lie, I guess.
