Day Fourteen -- Morning:
Up @ 5 am.
I've never been so scared in my life as I was last night when I thought Cu was attacking me, drunk! I held off a 250 pound man with a broken beer bottle. Then I tried to run through the desert after dark with no light. Needless to say I got torn up a bit. Shorty pj's don't offer much in the way of protection.
Paul Peter got punched in the eye. I tried to get him to prefer charges, as I doubt that Tomás would attack him knowingly when he was sober, but he seems to think he's such a catch that any woman he sees wants to make love with him... NOT!
The morning was lovely. The wildflowers are still in carpet mode, and the kids at the library found some good information to check out. Juan and Sarita are writing letters for more information on the two most likely.
