Okay, so it's hot enough that I'm not wearing long trousers at the moment, but it hasn't been that bad.

Does anybody reading this own a cricket bat that might be borrowed? (Not one that is particularly precious to the owner. While there isn't a deliberate intention of abusing it, it's not like we'd be playing on the finely tended pitch of the MCG either.)

Predictive text makes SMSing faster, but sometimes screws up. My phone always substitutes "oz" for "my" and "au" for "at", and I usually catch it, but not always.

It's a good thing I was careful with the predictive text just now, because when sending a text to a woman I don't know terribly well, my phone decided I meant to tell her, "I'll bed you". ( Read more... )

It's Tuesday night. I've completed 13 chapters of my latest training course (despite being lazy the last two days, and only having completed a chapter and a half since the weekend). The Windows Communications Foundation is by far the most scattered of the three Microsoft Certification training courses I've done recently. The first was okay in terms of the text, with some poor quality in the associated software. Edit: Okay, make that two and a half months ago. Frankly, two months ago today I had more important things on my mind than job interviews.

... that I have to try not to count. I've just gotten off the phone with someone else who wants me to interview. I'll be in their office 2:00pm tomorrow, assuming that fits with the technical director's schedule (which cannot be verified until tomorrow morning).
