Okay, I had to pull an all-nighter as I am having a hard time finding time to get anything done over the past week, but my Off-World Alphabet Soup is almost finished (as per usual, all I need to do is write the ending) and I am hoping someone out there will be willing to beta read it for me before I have to submit it later today ( Read more... ) -
Well heck...
My mom has been in and out of the hospital since last Friday and now they are talking about sending her home to spend her remaining days in hospice. She had a couple strokes in the past week which has caused complete paralysis in her left leg, and I am her sole caregiver, which leaves me to wonder if I'll be able to deal with all of it. Okay, so I'm not getting very far on my slightly ambitious 2015 writing schedule. In fact, I have maybe one chapter done on my het_bigbang fic, an idea for the Off-World Alphabet Soup fic (my two big priorities at the moment), and that's about it. The perils of writing fanfiction while the fandom is still alive and kicking
