I'm leaving LJ. The latest asshattery, forcing ads on Basic accounts to non-logged-in users, was the proverbial straw. I have a minor presence on WordPress, and am moving whole-cloth to InsaneJournal, who are so far running like LJ used to.

So I finally got a digital converter for my TV. I don't watch enough that it warrants buying a whole new system.

I'm sold. I love having a 24-hour weather channel again, even if it is ad-heavy, and the reception really *is* a lot better. I'm still not likely to watch that much more TV, but at least it'll look good when I do.

Normally, I prefer to avoid spoilers. So I wasn't looking for trouble when I stumbled across who was making an appearance on Sarah Jane Adventures later this year. Don't click here if you want to be surprised.

I expect comments may be spoilerrific -- you have been warned. I for one have been doing the happy fanboy dance all night long. :D

So the latest rumor is that there will be a Prisoner remake as a six (*snrk!*) part miniseries with Sir Ian McKellan as Number Two, and Jim Caviezel as Number Six.

And so help me, my first thought was "It's Gandalf vs Jesus!"
