The new year, now 8 days old, had been a long one for me. I was off of work for Christmas (yeah!) and so I worked New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. I need to get back on track with my exercising. It has been weeks. I got a new DVD from WW that is a fast track to fitness. What motivates you?

We finally got snow yesterday! We did not have a very white Christmas but winter is now here! It's 28 degrees and we got 4-6 inches of the pretty white stuff! I only like winter because of the snow. When everything is all dreary and dead looking, it depresses me. I get in a rut. Snow is bright and pretty and uplifting. :)

I rolled in 2004 at work. We planned a party but it did not get going until 2am. (I work in a hospital). My daughter and husband were playing video games when I left for work. How much family do you keep in contact with? Is is just your parents, brothers, sisters? or cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. too?

Sometimes this is so hard...I know I want to say something but I can't get it to flow right..Fourth times a charm, right?....I got to spend a few hours with my cousin today. Tonight, my darling husband and daughter went with me to meet a grade school friend and her family. We played mini golf. Well, the kids played mini golf and Kristy and I talked while walking along. Well, the big day is over *WHEW*. My daughter and I have had 2 dinners, 2 desserts, and she has opened 3 rounds of presents plus the "showing" of gifts to Jon. (Jon can't be at my sister's house in the winter time due to his severe allergies to her cat and dog so we showed him all the gifts that I opened in his absence).
