1) I spent most of yesterday sprawled out on the couch, thinking I was coming down with the flu. It felt like I had gotten run over by a truck. But today I feel fine. A bit of post-Colorado jet lag / hiking exhaustion, I suppose. Or maybe that's just how you feel after saving someone's life. Speaking of which:

I'm pretty sure what you were feeling had to do with recovering from the altitude. Did you drink liquor at all while you were there? In those high altitudes, your body can't metabolize alcohol as efficiently, and one beer feels like four or five.

Oh, that probably explains why, after just two glasses of wine, I was in a heated argument with SG's parents about universal health coverage! HA!
