Fish and nuts, wasabi flavoured kit kat, little itty bitty dried red crabs (shells included) ... all things that you can buy in packets at Tokyo Narita Airport...
Doesn't it just? I really should have bought it. Really. I like wasabi. My brain just came to a screeching halt at the thought of wasabi + chocolate and didn't move from there until the plane was well and truly off the ground.
I'm going to look for it next time (whenever that is).
If you haven't found these chocolate bars yet, you need to. This was the first place I heard of wasabi chocolate, but given the success of chilli chocolate, it makes sense to me.
House is slowly coming together - I had some shelves cut and fitted them, and rehung a door which wouldn't close on the weekend *beams*. Still not pretty enough for visitors, but every day it feels a little more homely, and not just housely. Damned cold though. Brrrrr.
Hee! This time it wasn't about connections. I have BFI membership, because it's almost our second home. (We have four films for January booked already - there's an Audrey Hepburn season on :D), and getting the tickets was lucky chance - they were going to be popular, so it was done by ballot on application. Still, there were a lot of media types at the screening, so us being there became even more precious when I realised just how few real tickets there must have been.
