Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie
This book (and its two sequels, Ancillary Sword and Ancillary Mercy) is literally my favourite right now.
(Well, technically, Ancillary Mercy is my favourite, but I'll get to that.)
These books are about an AI that used to be a starship. And now is, technically, not. Fascinating things ensue.

The 100 Season 3 is better the second time around when I have less visceral NOPE NOPE NOPE feelings and can follow the plot more dispassionately.

Data vs Information
So because I am a nerd, today on my walk home I was ruminating about the difference between data and information, and recommendations.
Probably easiest to illustrate with an example. Let's take the problem of, say, restaurants. You want to go to one. How do you pick?- Data is "here is a list of restaurants, and their locations, and their menus."
