Wow. I just got a flyer in the mail from my state union encouraging me to vote for Hillary.
Let me repeat that: The New York State Union of Teachers is endorsing Hillary. I guess she has a good academic record -- got good grades in school, did she? Or does she just vote to give schools more money? Not that I'm against that, mind you -- I work for ( Read more... ) -

So I totally lost....
Diabetes finally broke me down enough to have me full-on ranting, raving, and sobbing. I was so proud of myself for taking this diagnosis calmly and going about with my life. But I'm finding this so much harder than I ever thought it would be......

Running....
I feel.... pretty good actually. I just went for my first visit to the complex's fitness center. Well, fitness room would be more appropriate! :) It's a nice place, though, with brand new machines, well lit, clean, etc. Two treadmills, an exercise bike, and a rowing machine -- but I don't need more than that, do I?
