I posted this elsewhere, but I figured it can't hurt to post on my own journal too, so here goes.

How is the WoW CCG? It seems very expensive for a CCG. How is the gameplay/simplicity? I thought about getting a starter and some packs for me and Bryse, but they are selling starters for like...$20 or $30 I think. Also, is anyone in Melbourne still playing V:TES?

WoW = Magic + Raw Deal. It's basically magic with a superstar card. It's very simple to play, but there's all kinds of tricks in the game itself, like any other card game. It's rather expensive, especially since starters come with a pre-made 30 card deck and two packs...which doesn't add up to a full deck. You can play with the 30 card decks, but its actually tougher than with 60. I'd guess that 2 starters + maybe 5 packs would be enough to make two decks, depending on pulls and all (ie not getting a hunter starter and no hunter cards in the packs). It's fun, its easy, and its a card game that Ed's willing to play. Oh, and the Onyxia deck is badass and lots of fun(5 people vs me and I destroy them all Muhahahaha ( ... )

Reason I ask about V:TES is that for x-mas I got Bryse the holiday starter set, it came with Tzim, Tremere-anti, malk-anti, and brujah-anti. Bryse learned how to play pretty quickly, but of course its just the 2 of us, So the game is pretty 1 dimensional. After a little bit of work, and seeing that he was actually enjoying this game, I gave him my old Malk-anti Fame/Coma deck and he loves it. The problem is that I sold most of my cards on Ebay, except for my malk and settite sneak and bleeds and my caitiff deck....not really the kind of decks that lead to great 1v1 fun. I am trying to find some cards on ebay, but the pickings are slim, and as i've called around town to the local card shops every store owner just says "what's the game called again? I don't think my distributer carries them."
