Captain Power!

I had such a hard-on for that show. I had no idea it was broadcasted in Japan though, but I should have guessed, given how much Captain Power owed to Japanese live-action shows.

There was a slight modification to the intro. By 'slight' I mean 'totally awesome.'

I used to watch that show with my brother! I accidentally broke his silver bird-dude toy and he was so pissed. Also, that was the first show I saw where they killed one of the characters off. Poor... girl-lady!

Poor... her. :-( I once saw her in an interview years after the show was aired, and she joked about how she went up a few cup sizes when she donned her armor.

I was somewhat surprised to learn later that J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5's main writer) wrote about half the Captain Power episodes
