Last week wasn't terrible, it was just horribly long. I helped out a friend at an event all weekend. It was fun and all but extremely exhausting. Then before you know it, while you are catching some zzz, it's Monday :(

Left 4 Dead
Besides reading the zombie survival guide, I've recently taken a liking to playing left 4 dead. It is not just a first person shooter game (FPS) but also incorporates teamwork. I've finished most if not all of the maps on my steam account on normal mode as well as some on advanced mode. It is really fun and I think I'm hooked.

as i'm waiting for true blood episode 11 to download...
studying has been rather unproductive today, but i know that if i manage to finish the reading the coursebook material the first time round. i should be good. i am stuck on chapter 3 - fixed income which is not that bad a topic really.

surprises
a short week ahead. what a relief. though i do miss being back at work being on leave for two and a half weeks.
i received a call on friday. it's been a while since i received a headhunter call. especially when i haven't been looking out even at the job listings.
they are offering approximately 25% to 45% increase to my current salary.
