It's like they don't realize people got dressed in the morning knowing what season it is...

I was actually looking forward to having my last trimester be during the winter, but I totally forgot that in Israel, buses and stores and everywhere set their heating alllllll the way up during the winter so that I can't actually go inside anywhere without melting into a faint, even after taking off my coat. Ugh.

Run-on sentences are my friends.

this country, who knows nine? i know nine!, pardon my eloquence

I was at the supermarket today and I had to take off my coat as soon as I got inside. And I was still shmoiling. And there was a line.

Me too. Especially the buses inside Jerusalem.

That's really bad. Make sure you carry around lots of water so you don't faint.

Yeah, I had the same theory - last trimester in the winter being easier than summer. But then I was the one sweating buckets and opening windows to the chagrin and vocal protest of my classmates last winter. Though I'm not sure I'll be any less hot this year, since they up the heat so much any time it rains.

Why did your classmates protest? I get hot when they turn the heating up too high in the winter even when I'm not pregnant.

They're my favorite grammatical rule to break.

well, i do run ons for funsies, but i break lots of others probably with the same alarming frequency, chief among them "me and [person] [verb]". it's just easier. you know what drives me NUTS though??? when people say "[person] and I" AT THE END OF A SENTENCE. IT IS WRONG. DO NOT DO IT. IT MAKES YOU SOUND LIKE AN IGNORAMUS. AAAAAAAHHHHH

Last winter I wore nothing but a lightweight shirt, calve-length lightweight cotton tights, and a hoodie till the girls were born mid-February. At some point I learned never to even bother trying with my coat, I just had to carry it whenever I took it out. Thankfully I never wasted any money on a maternity coat.

I have a maternity coat from last time around (which they LIED and told me would still look good when I wasn't pregnant, last time I take advice from a clothing salesperson), but in any case, I think anything that would keep me warm while I'm outside and walking around would be too hot while on a bus, even just a sweatshirt.
