Bah. Not much to tell. One of my lives, I was a dumbass, tried to eat a type of fruit, discovered it was toxic, and died. I knew that most of the fruits/vegetables that grew around me were supposed to not be eaten, they belonged to the animals that I in turn ate, but I was stubborn and thought it would be funny to try to be an herbivore. Thus, died. Such a joy, to tell people you died of food poisoning, lol.
I suspect part of this is directly related to my observation that the greatest amounts of respect tend to be given to the most cynical, and it's far too easy to deny onesself because, generally speaking, it hurts less.
It is honestly much easier to say "It doesn't matter what I'm shaped like, I'm fine with being a human, no why do you think I might not be cool with that?" then to admit "I would really rather be lizard-shaped again" and then have to deal with the pain of proceeding to not be lizard-shaped
