I talked to him a week or two back, and we talked about meeting up and hanging out. I'd definitely like to get together, so hopefully something will materialize.
Portland is full of annoying liberals, in my mindtrevitronJune 16 2007, 19:00:56 UTC
Well, pleased is not exactly how I would put it; instead I would say that basketball justice has been served. The Spurs are a much better team, and I wanted the Cavs to win because I like the Cavs and because cheering for the Spurs is entirely boring

Your assessment of my city is absolutely accuratebad_juiceJune 17 2007, 04:59:23 UTC
I did read both, well, I read the Simmons article and what I could of the Hollinger one without being an ESPN Insider. I think Simmons' idea is not bad, although I agree with a dude in the LJ comm nbafans that the idea of teams playing a tourney for 7th and 8th seed is kind of lame and not very exciting. If teams were actually good enough to possibly upset first or second seed on a semi-regular basis then it might be exciting. But watching a tourney to see which teams get to exit the playoffs first sounds dull
