This is a wonderful beginning and I like that you have Danny and Steve starting off on the wrong foot with each other, but they both love Mary and want what is best for her kids.

Oh dear, and now I feel really guilty! I'm so sorry that I've taken so long to reply to everyone and that I haven't updated yet--life has been a tad insane, but I'm hoping to eke out some more time for fandom now : ) And the next chapter is already in the works, so hopefully you'll have it sooner rather than later (though not quite 'right now'!). Thank you so much for your lovely comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the story. (And your icon is so cute!) I hope the next chapter will not disappoint!

Great start, I really like this. I like how you have it all explained and now see where you are going with the parent trap. Sad that Mary died but there was no other way, but you mapped out the beginning so well. I can't wait for more.

Thank you! I'm very glad you're enjoying it : ) And I'm glad the parent trap setup made sense! I felt terrible killing Mary off as well--I really liked her, the way I had her set up in my head--but unfortunately the entire premise of the story fails if she survives. But never fear, she will be remembered by the boys and their precious girls!

Parent Trap 1

Hoping that Steve will get and have custody of both
baby girl's it should be a crime to split up brother's
and sister's and Steve should not do it now. Look at all
the shows that reunite families it is all way's looking
for younger sibling's . Please update when you can.

Unfortunately if you have seen the movie The Parent Trap, which the central plot device for this story was taken from, you will know that it is impossible for the girls to stay together. But don't worry, that won't last forever! They will be back together soon enough :) And I hope to update as soon as I am able!
