I just got in from work, and it was a hellish night. I really don't want to work at this job any longer. On the bright side, I spent the past two and a half days in Jackson with Erin. It seems that another month has come and gone. I'm still employed, and have reached a better balance between my work schedule and free time. I'm in the process of attaining a better job, though. I was on the phone with my mother yesterday morning, and one of us made a comment about this having been a really long year. I was reflecting on that today, and I think I just realized how long this year has really been - not only this year, but the past fourteen months. So far this year, the count is at:

Grandmother died
Kitten died
Broken up with three times
Lost four friends

And there are still almost 5 whole months remaining!!

I give up...on life, the universe and everything...

The answer is definitely not 42. I don't think there is an answer.

I don't even know what the point to life is anymore...

I just got back from spending the past 2 days with my current romantic interest, Beth. She and I have been on four official dates now, which is actually a record for me. I've been OCD all day with cleaning. I have a date with my new woman in less than 12 hours now, and she's coming home with me afterward. I started back jogging the past two weeks, and I've been getting lots of other exercise. I'm going to get back in shape! Also, I think I have a date with a beautiful woman on Tuesday.
