Also, though I don't think I was fully cognizant of it at the time, I admired his code of honor.  Let's face it, we don't live in a particularly honorable time or place, and I'll admit that I wasn't raised with a terribly good set of boundaries--neither regarding my own behavior, nor what I should expect from others.  I really liked the fact that ( Read more... )

My hero was and is Spider-Man. Not the pansy, whiney, new movie Spider-man, But the original Amazing Spider-Man comic style. I will have to post more on this, since it will take some time to type.

Heh, I got into comics as a young adult. (I always was a day late and a dollar short.)

Spidey is a good choice; I like the moral lesson. With great power comes great responsibility--it ain't all cool webswinging, kid.
