God, this book is boring.

I should be able to breeze through this very quickly--it's not a complicated read, and I have the time on my hands--but it just doesn't hold my attention at all.  I'm about sixty pages in, right at the point that Bella is almost hit by a car.  Thank God something is happening; I'm not a big action fan, but I'll take

Funny you should choose that last phrase from Gone with he Wind. Some day I will explain the significance it has to me. Speaking of Gone with the Wind. I have an old copy of the book. Purchased at the Boston Bookstore in 1938 or something as a gift from my Grandmother to my Great grandmother, Josephine Alden, at least the little writing on the corner of the title page indicates that. Unfortunately it was not the first publishing but it was around number 3.
