Why I don't want Washington DC to become a state: There is already a state named Washington! (off my small soapbox).

If DC became a new state, I would rather call something else, like state of Columbia or have the DC region get incorporated by either Maryland or Virginia.

I missed last night's Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights/Solar Storm(whatever you want to call it), mostly because I was too tired already and drained from the 85F heat and had to get early again today, in case my mom needed my help with dogwalking.

My aunt texted me some great pics of it before she left this morning.

His Celebration of Life was hosted at Sahalee Country Club today where family, friends, neighbors, work colleagues, his fraternity brothers and those he mentored through the UW's business school showed up. About around 170 people. Those who couldn't come in person had the option to watch via Zoom.

Strong enough to scrub the grime off my cement bench outside, yet gentle to remove crude oil off birds!

This week is gonna suck because on the 9th is my Dad's Memorial Service, which is on his birthday and I will be busy helping out the day before and the day of so my anxiety/emotions will be bouncing off the walls a bit and then drain me in the end.

I just had to untick the checkmark next to the new editor style box on the Display tab and reset my page. The 'new' editor page to post entries was not user friendly at all!
