Crazy weather and all! Daytime it warms up to almost 50 and then at night it drops down into the low 30s. There are trees and bushes already flowering that aren't supposed to bloom this early. It's been snowing on and off in various locations, but doesn't stick for very long, only in the mountain passes.

Marukome Green Onion soup in a cup. What I like about is the flavor of the soup which is tasty and different from the other two brands I've bought. Downside, it's not gluten-free or vegan. 

I now really enjoy Miso soup.

I found two different types that are gluten free, one was a packet of dried ingredients and just add hot water. The other brand was two packets: one with seasonings and the other the soy paste and just add hot water.

I think I prefer the seasoning/soy paste one better in regards to quality and taste.

Time to go grocery shopping again today, weather forecast predicts some frozen rain/snow mix later tonight through tomorrow. Probably a few inches.

It has been too cold here! Down in between the teens and 20s. Today it got up into the very low 30s. Still too cold, but the roads are clear since the snow/ice didn't stick much and mostly ended up in the mountains. This week it will slowly crawl back up to the 40s with rain.

He went for another hydro-infusion today and his bloodwork shows he has low red blood levels so tomorrow he's getting a transfusion. Hopefully that will help improve his energy again and no longer be horribly fatigued.

Some time after midnight, the power went out but was fixed by around 5am. Good thing I have flashlights and those headmounted lights stragetically placed at certain points in my home in case of power failure!

Since Thursday my computer hasn’t been working right. It’s stuck in the infinite loop of automatic repair screen. Different from the blue screen of doom. I’m trying to get it fixed before the holidays. The original person who was supposed to come out today suddenly called in sick(the whole office is apparently sick) so I found my old computer guy ( Read more... )
