the farm up the street has white peacocks
they have brown eyes on the feathers,
the buggars have a tendency to wander
so i get to see them randomly
haven't gotten to see them strutting yet.

the show up in the oddest places
on top of a truck cab,
behind a tractor ...
occasionally road kill-bad part of free range next to a road.

i used to phantasize about getting a baby peacock
and sneak it in with mom's chickens
so proof one of the birds would grow Big!
snicker

that little bitty peacock
has some really big eyes
thinking he wants such a big girlfriend

mom's turkeys would display at themselves
when they looked at her basement windows
it was just so funny- it was better they did that

instead of fighting each other
a behavior the roosters had.
then when it was just one
the sneaky bird would come after me.

the blue of his body is unreal, I just can not help but stare at him! If there were any lady birds in the area I am sure they would be smitten!
