If you haven't heard about the shooting of an unarmed black man in Oakland on New Years, you should read about it here or somewhere else. But, more importantly, I think, people should listen to this thoughtful commentary by a talented young black man in Oakland named Leon Sykes.

Jogging Stroller
Does anyone have (or know of someone who has) a jogging stroller that I could borrow over Thanksgiving? We're doing the Turkey Trot and it would be nice to actually try jogging some of it. If we use our stroller I'll have to walk the whole thing, which would be fine as well.
Has anyone done the Turkey Trot before? How was your experience? -

Free Bike: much loved and used, not in too bad of shape
I have an old Fuji Folding Bike that was given to me that I would like to give to someone in our community. It has taken me all over Minneapolis, San Francisco, Black Rock and Austin. Needing a Babysitter for Tuesday evening

Apple Cider Vinegar
I've been applying straight Apple Cider Vinegar to the excema on hands twice a day since Friday and it is working. In fact it's working better than anything else I've tried in the last 15 years! Busy but Fulfilling
I feel like I haven't had a break in over a year. My life has been so busy. First it was getting married while working on my certification. Then it was being pregnant (first trimester) while teaching during the summer. Then pregnant and student teaching this past fall. Now it's caring for a newborn - the hardest of all. I don't know which piece of writing this is from. I found it in a footnote in _Autobiography of a Yogi_, which I am currently reading, and it only lists that it is by Emerson.
