Wow, what an amazing story! I love what you did with it and the last part, with John finally flying was very moving.

Thank you!

Thank you. It was a cool prompt to work with. I'm glad the final flying scene had a good impact.

This is fantastic!

♥__♥ winged!John ♥__♥

I love the idea of travelling between ARs and that Rodney is looking for John's and how they do in other universes!

I love the John POV and the H/C you put him through? Excellent!

Thank you very much for this fic! :)

I'm really happy that John finally got to fly, but I feel so bad for all the mutants left behind in John's own universe. ;_; It's amazingly sad to consider those who survived being cut off from their friends and family for ever.

It was kind of a sad situation, but since they inidicated they were content at Gateways, I think they might not have had much in the way of family or friends to begin with.

That was absolutely beautiful. It was very visual and this would have made such a great graphic novel. It was a mystery and a great scifi story all rolled into one. What a wonderful AU, and hey extra points for excellent use of Lorne. Thanks.

Thank you. I had very clear pictures in my mind when I wrote this and now that you mention it, some were actually visualized in a sort of graphic novel sketch style. I wish I could have actually drawn a couple of winged!John images.

I like to give Lorne an honorable mention in a story whenever possible.

Yes, graphic novel sketch style or pen and ink changing to color in Atlantis! I could 'see' the scene of John lying in his cage and the rain; I could see Teyla and Ronan and Rodney gathered around him; I could see John on the grounds, chained so he couldn't fly and I can 'see' the final scene, in color of course, perhaps water colors, of John leaping from the balcony and flying. Thanks again.
