What a *wonderful* story. I agree with the person who said it would make an excellent graphic novel, the pictures are very clear in my mind's eye.

Of course I love to the max that John is rescued by his Team, and that they're driven by Rodney's quixotic desire to help a John Sheppard, any one, to make up for the one he lost.

I confess, I LOLed at Carson's mutation.

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the story and that the images were very clear. I really did feel for the AU Rodney, too and his attempt to cope with loss.

Carson's mutation made me chuckle, too, as soon as it came to mind. Later, I wondered about whether or not he would have to be sheared.

This is a great story - very moving, especially the end with the description of John's flight. You had a nice twist on the characters from different universes - the two Rodneys were a bit the same, but also not quite, which works very well. I am glad that we get a happy ending though; I kind of needed one today, so thank you for that.

Thank you. I am glad you liked the story. After all that John had gone through, there really needed to be an ending with hope for his future.
