i'm going into nursing.

and i couldn't be happier.

6 inches of snow on the ground in every direction you see, and gradually piling up higher.

nothing exists past 100 feet in front of you.

the snow freezes onto you because it's so cold.

you're face is pierced with each flake of snow that slams into it.

my first experience with a snow storm.

it's over and i hate to put him through this. a month ago i would have never seen this day coming...i don't think any one would have. i still have questions, as i know you do, but i hope to figure them out on my own. i'm sure the future holds brighter days for the both of us, it's simply going to take time.

at 12:35 today it snowed for 15 minutes, and it's supposed to snow again tonight.
it's october and it doesn't regularly start snowing until late november. i'm in for a harsh winter.

let's see what age 19 beholds....

that big white envelope means more than just an acceptance letter.

it means my fears of rejection are cured and the path to my future has begun to be paved; this is where my options begin.

it means that my chances of living a different lifestyle, in a city so foreign from this one, have increased, even if it's just by one.
