...when Noel yelps, and something explodes violently in the kitchen. She has just discovered why exactly you don't put unopened soup cans in the microwave. There is tomato paste not just all in the microwave, but - having blown the door off of the device - sprayed across the floor as well

I'm... I don't know. I just tried microwaving some soup, and... i-it exploded.
