today I met my Japanese exchange student, Emi. She's really small and really cute! Tomorrow we're going to the Roots & Blues... we have lots in common, and we both speak just enough of each other's language to get along really well.

This week is gonna rock.

Last night I returned from two fabulous weeks touring the US with my parents and Nicholas, complete with tons of wicked camping, racing indian trucks across the desert, Death Valley, getting crushed into the night crowds in downtown Las Vegas, experiencing the beauty of Yosemite, touring the world-famous Antelope slot canyon that you see pictures ( Read more... )

my last few days were spent in Squamish with my family and Nic - he, my dad and I climbed Diedre, a route on the Chief that consists of 7 pitches at a rating of 5.7. It was amazing, and the most challenging climb I've ever done by far.
