This was great! I love that she's still examining him even after accepting his help.

And this line:
In fact, he somehow seemed larger and tougher now than he had at the station.

Such a perfect observation because, yeah, Sam grows and shrinks for each occasion. It's quite a skill.

It was what drew me to Season 1 and 2 Sam. hHe could seem so non-threatening, and yet he carried a gun and could take out two swat members without thining twice. There was something intriguing about that.
