Aww. Thank you so much! And for all your help; God, I whined about this an awful lot, didn't I?

Hi, you've met me, right? At least once or twice. So you will know that it is statistically impossible for you to whine more or be more emo than me. Siria:Trin as Tenth Doctor:Teyla.

See? If my SATs had had analogies like that on 'em, I would have gotten that 800!

Also: you are hot, and I dig your glasses.

i haven't read this whole thing yet, but i can already tell i'm going to love it all. i also just wanted to say that there is a vanishingly small number of people who could get me to read something marked "teyla/rodney" and you are one of them. thanks, i think. :)

I was so excited to see a new story by you that I read this at work, and now I'm responding from work, that's how wonderful it was. As a frustrated linguist, I found this fabulous, wonderful, and really loved your insight into Teyla, and of course, dear Rodney. Thank you so much.

Very cool. I loved the little "I wish Daniel Jackson was here," "Enough about Daniel Jackson!" exchange that Teyla could understand even without knowing the words. And I too, thought, "they never left" just like Teyla. I thought that was a bit thoughtless of Elizabeth.

I love how you used German for the English bits, and your Teyla voice is so great. She's the Teyla we see bits of on the show, but with nifty things like depth and emotions. I totally love how frustrated she is that it seems like no one cares to meet her half way, well, other than Liz who probably has made linguistics her hobby. I adore how Rodney did make the effort to at least give her a way to teach Athosian and did learn it even if his accent is horrid.

Hell, I just adore the whole thing.
