In case you haven't heard, this past week I GOT INTO CORNELL LAW SCHOOL, meaning that I can do my top-choice JD/MBA dual degree program that I had wanted all along. How cool is that? The business school really pulled through for me...

This is obviously quite exciting. At least *I* am excited about it.

So yup, it's final. Cornell it is. Even found a roommate already, and (assuming everything works out with the lease) we'll be living in Plaza East, about a 30 second walk from Allie's apartment. It's a pretty townhouse with 2 floors, private bathrooms, and all that stuff. And, though i haven't met him, my future roommate sounds really nice. He's ( Read more... )

With very high probability, I'm moving to Ithaca.

So I keep going back and forth deciding whether to choose yale or cornell. Cornell's given me great personal treatment and taken a truly active role in trying to get me to come, and it's felt nice. Yale has an established program for direct b-school students, so that is an attraction. The advisor from Yale called at 1230 last night, talked to me ( Read more... )
