Tonight I did something that I swore I would never do as someone so heavily involved in animal rescue...I returned Eagle to GW. My precious baby boy just couldn't adjust to being home alone for 8 hours after 8 weeks, culminating in ripping off another basket muzzle, biting the crate until he was bleeding, and eventually getting halfway out and

Thank you...he is a wonderful dog and I know that once he has a family that is home most of the day, or has other dogs, he will be happier. It was best for everyone, but it still just sucks. :( *hugs*

Thanks, Eve...it was terribly hard, still is...rough night.

You are right though, time heals everything for us, and for him, he will feel so much better this way...he was truly unhappy, even if he really did love us.
