It's been a long time since I have written, and I reckon it will be a while (potentially) before I do again. A lot has changed. I don't know what has even moved me to update my profile and write, but

I'm sooo happy to see an update from you, Jen. Jeff and I were just talking about you recently and wondering how you were doing. I'm sorry that you're having troubles but I'm so very happy for you that you found Slim.
I used to have a horse soul mate named WarPaint and she'd know what I wanted her to do before I told her we were so in tune. It's incredibly lucky and lovely for you to have found that.
Update whenever you can. You've still got bunches of us out here thinking about you and hoping you're doing well.
HI!!! I'm so happy to see you posting here again! Sounds like you've had a hell of a year. I'm so sorry to hear about Sonic---poor guy. How utterly unfair. But I'm glad you found Slim to keep you sane and keep you motivated. Sounds like quite a match. :) ::HUGS::
Hiya! Thanks! It really has been one giant bitch. It is so unfair about Sonic, it breaks my heart to have had him go through that, and to have all my dreams for him crushed.
But Slim...oh, SLIM. He is truly one in a million, and it IS the match made in heaven I think I have been searching for my whole life. I adore that pony.
Oh my God, it is so good to see an update from you. I honestly thought I'd never see another one again!
I am very sorry to hear that this year has been so bad for you, but I am also very happy to hear that you've formed such a deep and sustaining bond with Slim that's helped you make it through the bad times. It's a shame to hear about Sonic's health problems, though; I remember how excited you were about how well his training was going back in the day.
I hope you continue to feel inclined to write here! I really do miss seeing you on my FL, and I hope you know you don't have to go through your troubles alone. Please don't be a stranger, ok? *hugs*
BTW, I thought you might be tickled to know that...
>_>
I have developed some mad love for Phil Hughes and Joba Chamberlain. Shhhhhh...
I'm back, though I'm sure intermittently. Thank you re: this year...god knows it has been so awful. Slim has truly helped, and usually is the only thing I look forward to. It's the first time in my life I have had a made horse, and one that I feel so close to. Sonic is...a heartbreaker. :( That's horses, and I know it, but it doesn't make it any easier.
How have you been? How is your family? Good, I'm hoping! How goes singing? I AM tickled to hear that! But how sad are you about the state of baseball right now? Oh, Roger and Andy...I just want to cry. :( I never thought...and really, I never much considered pitchers in general as candidates for this. Maybe I should resurrect Roger/Andy to deal with the 'roid issues. It is such a bummer. I am so glad that we didn't see names like Jeter and Cal and Tony on there...the ones we ALL think of as "good guys," no matter what team we cheer for.
