 All right, a few minutes at the keyboard soit's time for a post!

Had my 30th birthday on the 15th. You know it's one of those milestone bdays when your parents get you 'ha-ha you're old' cards. Spent said day lounging about at home and visiting my favorite Salem establishments. The next night, Lara's mom had gotten us tickets for 'Jesus Christ

JC Superstar is my favorite musical. I've seen it on Broadway, but I also saw it here last year with Ted Neeley. I agree, he is unbelievable. He was kind of mediocre for the first act (I actually think they slowed the tempo down on many of the songs for him), but I could sense he was saving his voice for the big songs. Then he blew everyone away during Gethsemane with those high notes. Nobody can do it like him. Except maybe Adam Lambert from American Idol.

He definitely seemed taxed, btu yeah, I was totally blown away by his vocal power. The guy who played Judas apparently won VH-1's "The Entertainer", and he was pretty darn good, but not in the same league despite being forty years younger... go old guys!

I have grave sympathy for your Dog Situation o.o Also, happy birthday from someone who is always late with these things. If you get Old, I will kick you. Hard. Probably in the ass.
